    Call for Nominations - Chapter Board of Directors

    The Atlanta Chapter is seeking nominations for the 2020-2021 Board of Directors. The new board will take office on July 1.

    Service on the Board helps members grow personally and professionally, develop new skills, and gain unique experience all while providing an opportunity to drive Chapter development. Board service also provides the opportunity to develop valuable skills in organizational governance and program planning, expand your network of professional contacts, and gain recognition from your employer and peers.

    Submitting Nominations

    Send your nomination to [email protected]. Please include the candidate's name, employer, information on volunteer positions held, and a brief statement of interest. Self-nominations are encouraged.

    The submission deadline is Monday, April 27.

     

    March Meeting Cancellation-ARMA Atlanta

     

    Good Morning Atlanta ARMA Chapter Members

    It is with regret we will be cancelling the March 17, 2020 meeting out of safety concerns for our chapter members and due to the pandemic annoucement by WHO yesterday, and growing concerns in the Atlanta area.

    For the small number of you that have registered, Chris Francis will be reaching out to you today regarding your registration.

    We anticipate we will be able to continue with our April meeting at this time, so please stay tuned for any announcement changes if warranted.

    Good Morning Atlanta ARMA Chapter Members-NEW UPDATE

    As the nation evaluates the pandemic, the guidance from ARMA International is to cancel all meetings, seminars, etc., that are scheduled for April and May. With that said, the Atlanta ARMA Chapter has made the decision to follow these guidelines.

    We will communicate with you as often as possible to keep you informed. If you have any questions or concerns, please email those to [email protected]

    Committee Volunteers Wanted

    The Chapter cannot succeed without its dedicated volunteers. The Board of Directors is now seeking Chapter members to serve on the following committes:

    ARMA Conference Scholarship

    To support continuing education and professional networking, the ARMA Atlanta Chapter will reimburse one applicant to attend the annual ARMA InfoCon.

    The Chapter will reimburse the successful applicant for:

    • early bird conference registration rate
    • economy class airfare purchased at least 60 days in advance
    • two nights accommodations at the conference hotel room rate
    • routine expenses, such as food and ground transportation, up to $150
